My name is Dr. Marco Lo, and I helped found Magenta Health with my colleagues Dr. Priscilla Che and Keith Chung. With our team of exceptional leaders (pictured below), we are a physician-led and owned primary care group. We’ve grown organically over the last decade into three locations and more than 35 family doctors providing exceptional patient care and physician support.
Put simply, we care deeply about doing the right thing. Money comes second despite the fact we share your pressures - increasing rents and staffing cost, ever increasing patient expectations, the weight of pressure from every stakeholder, the challenge of recruiting and retaining strong family doctors.
We’re seeing large corporations and private equity firms acquiring primary care clinics, taking advantage of the environmental pressures on us. This direction worries us - we want to prioritize physician autonomy, patient care, and patient privacy. We have heartburn about the future of publicly funded primary care.
We’re ready to be an alternative way for existing clinic owners to leave the pressures of ownership behind.
